Terms of use
Plain terms for a tool that waits for you.
Effective 12 October 2026. These terms are between you and Modern Mustard Seed LLC ("we"), which runs Owner's Desk.
What Owner's Desk is
Owner's Desk connects business systems you own to AI assistants you approve. It reads from those systems to answer your questions, and it prepares invoices, calendar events and review replies as drafts that run only when you confirm them. Figures come straight from your systems at the moment you ask; they are not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
Your responsibilities
- You must be 18 or older and authorized to connect the business accounts you connect.
- You confirm every write. Read each draft before you say yes: once confirmed, an invoice is emailed by Stripe, an event is created and invitations sent if you chose that, and a review reply is public.
- You are responsible for the assistants you approve. You can remove any of them at any time from your desk page.
- One business owner per account. Do not share sign-in links or codes.
Your data
Everything in your connected systems stays yours and stays where it is. You give us permission to access it only to run the features you use, as the privacy policy describes. That permission ends when you disconnect a system or delete your account.
Third-party systems
Stripe, Google Calendar and Google Business Profile are run by their providers under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make to their services. If a provider revokes access, the related tools stop until you reconnect.
Fair use
Accounts have rate limits, shown in the docs, so the service stays fast and safe. Do not use Owner's Desk to send unlawful or unwanted messages, to harm others, to probe or overload the service, or to get around its limits or security. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Owner's Desk running and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change or retire features. If we ever shut Owner's Desk down, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the results of actions you confirmed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which also revokes every connection. These terms then end, except the parts that by nature continue, such as liability limits.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States. We will try to resolve any problem with you directly first.
